2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan logo.

The CRTPO is updating its Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), a long-range plan that considers transportation goals, objectives, and project priorities for all of Iredell and Mecklenburg counties and the urban parts of Union County.

Your input and involvement are essential!

The first draft of the recommended transportation project list developed as part of the 2055 MTP is now available, including roadway and transit projects across the planning area! As part of this second phase of engagement, we want you to review the project recommendations and give us your feedback through the interactive map and online survey below.

Interactive Map

The map below shows all of the projects in the 2055 MTP's draft fiscally constrained project list.

Click a project on the interactive map below to select it.

You can also click on a layer on the left side of the screen to select from the list of projects.

When a project is selected, additional information about the project you selected will appear on the left side of the screen.

You can leave a comment on a project or upvote/downvote a project by clicking on the icons below the project information, as pictured here.
