The CRTPO is updating its Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), a long-range plan that considers transportation goals, objectives, and project priorities for all of Iredell and Mecklenburg counties and the urban parts of Union County.

As of February 17, 2026 at 5:00pm ET, the Phase 3 engagement period is now closed. Thank you for participating! The full draft 2055 MTP and more details about the planning process, including the results of earlier phases of engagement about transportation needs, plan goals and objectives, and draft projects, are available for review at 2055mtp.org.
