The Longview Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will update the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) by taking a look at the transportation needs of the study area. This plan will identify current and future transportation needs in the MPO for the next 25 years. It considers all modes of transportation, including but not limited to cars, public transportation, bicycles, freight, walking, and aviation.

Mobility 2050 will thoroughly analyze the existing transportation system within the Longview MPO Boundary to establish the needs. Once the needs have been established, they will then be matched with recommendations that will later be prioritized for funding. This result in a plan that will be effective for transportation decision-making and investment choice.

This plan can't operate without YOU! Over the next few months, community members will have opportunities to actively participate in shaping the direction of the MTP. These opportunities will include both in-person open houses and digital engagement on this website.
