Join us for the Vision Zero initiative neighborhood meetings!
The community is invited to join us at a series of Neighborhood Meetings discussing progress on the City’s Vision Zero Action Plan. These meetings will be conducted in an “open house” format, allowing you flexibility to join a meeting at the location and time that is most convenient for your schedule.
Unique to each meeting will be an optional interactive activity that explores a theme from the City’s safety evaluation. This will include either a brief walking tour or bike ride in the area surrounding the meeting location. With exception to these activities, each meeting will offer the same information and input opportunities, and the meeting location will be open to the public for the entire meeting period. Please plan to attend whichever meeting is most convenient.

About Vision Zero
Vision Zero is a policy that traffic related crashes should never result in a severe injury or loss of life.
On October 25, 2022, The Boca Raton City Council resolved unanimously to designate Boca Raton as a "Vision Zero City." This initiative represents a change in culture, and a shift from traditional road safety practices to a safe system approach.
Building on this framework, and with federal funding support through the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Program, the City is currently outlining a framework to address traffic safety differently and developing a Vision Zero Action Plan.
