The first Working Group Meeting for the Chattahoochee Hills Comprehensive Plan took place on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at City Hall. Attendees were first provided with an overview of the comprehensive planning process. The project team then outlined each subcommittee:

• Land Use
• Economic Development and Housing
• Transportation
• Natural, Cultural, and Agricultural Resources
• Health and Wellbeing

Following the introductory session, participants attended two 30-minute subcommittee meetings of their choice. Each subcommittee was provided with supplementary materials including maps, existing conditions, and handouts of imagery to aid in discussion. Members of the second group for each subcommittee reviewed the prior group’s feedback and contributed further to the discussion. After engaging with two subcommittees, attendees had the opportunity to visit additional meeting rooms to observe discussions held by other groups, with feedback documented on flip charts posted around each room. Those interested could also sign up to participate in future meetings for these subcommittees.

The first Chattahoochee Hills Comprehensive Plan Public Meeting kicked off on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 6:00pm. Over 100 Chattahoochee Hills residents came out to share their vision for the city.
