The City of Chattahoochee Hills is in the process of updating its comprehensive plan to guide the City's future. The process will include multiple opportunities to get involved, including three community meetings and a community survey.

The Project Schedule below provides an estimated timeline for the comprehensive planning process.

A Comprehensive Plan is a document that defines a community’s desired vision for the future. It outlines the community’s goals and consists of a plan or coordinated set of plans to support those goals, which may include strategies for land use, transportation, economic development, housing, cultural and community resources, and natural resources and agriculture.

The foundation of this plan is a future land use strategy to guide the long-term development of a community. It does not constitute zoning regulations or establish zoning district boundaries, but rather provides a basis for future zoning decisions and development decisions. The plan helps to guide public investments in infrastructure to aide in shaping future development and outlines a path for implementation with a list of near- and long-term actionable items to achieve the community’s goals.

We want your input! Community involvement is essential to developing a comprehensive plan. The planning process will offer various opportunities for you to participate, both virtually and in person.
