There needs to be a way to cross US 13 in Exmore. I would love to use the trail to get to the Food Lion but it still doesn't feel safe.
The Eastern Shore Rail Trail is a 10-foot shared use path proposed to run 49 miles along the former Bay Coast Railroad corridor. The section from Birdsnest to Melfa has received federal funding and is in planning stages.
