Wake County is developing updated transportation guidelines to serve as policy and strategic coordination tools. These guidelines will update the County's development review standards and practices, including potential changes to the county's UDO. It will also become a tool to assist in the coordination of regional transportation planning and investment as well as a tool to align roadway section expectations across all levels of government. This document will also serve to support the policy goals outlined in PLANWake. Those goals are:
