The new parallel parking should use permeable pavement to reduce stormwater runoff. Rain gardens should be included in the design.

Include bicycle infrastructure, especially bike racks, so people can use the park without driving and safely and securely store their bikes.

For the berm does the fence extend on top of it? I worry a bit that kids might slide/run down it into traffic

Consider a raised crosswalk for safer pedestrian crossing/traffic calming. The raised splitter island needs concrete culvert planters

An improvement, but more landscaping would help. Contact the Heritage Hills Parks Committee for input. They have applied for other grants.
