Vision Zero is the aspiration that no one should be killed or seriously injured on our streets. This strategy brings together all six plans under one unified goal: eliminating traffic deaths and severe injuries in Hollister. It builds on the City’s existing Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) and sets clear safety priorities, measurable goals, and an action plan that the City will use to pursue grant funding and deliver improvements. An Advisory Committee of community members, school representatives, senior advocates, law enforcement, and City leaders will guide the effort from start to finish. The strategy will include a public website and interactive dashboard so residents can track progress and stay informed as improvements are implemented.
